AAC&U Annual Meeting
Past Event:
The annual meeting of the Association of American Colleges & Universities is a four-day event. Participants at the 2013 meeting will explore a wide range of new approaches to quality learning.
The meeting will address important efforts to increase completion rates and access to higher education, alongside comprehensive efforts to ensure the integrity of college degrees. Student learning, in other words, must become the criteria by which we judge innovation.
John T. Casteen III, president emeritus of the University of Virginia, will give the opening plenary. The closing plenary will be given by Alison R. Bernstein, director of the Institute for Women's Leadership at Rutgers University; Holiday Hart McKiernan, vice president of operations and general counsel at the Lumina Foundation for Education; Jeannie Oakes, director of education and scholarship at the Ford Foundation; and Daniel Greenstein, director of postsecondary success strategy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
