As Deputy Director of the Healthy Schools Campaign, Mark was instrumental in bringing the Green Clean Schools Act to Illinois, now the second state in the nation to require green cleaning in schools. Mark has a strong background working on indoor air quality issues with five years at the American Lung Association of Eastern Missouri as director of Environmental Programs. At the association, Mark directed statewide environmental health education campaigns and policy initiatives.  He was also instrumental in developing The Quick & Easy Guide to Green Cleaning in Schools.
