Ken Sidebottom works for the Global Energy & Sustainability Group within the Building Efficiency Business of Johnson Controls Inc., a leading supplier of building and security management systems, HVAC equipment and controls. Prior to and during his eight years with Johnson Controls, Ken has been instrumental in developing dozens of new and existing building projects certified or currently registered and in development for Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System programs. Ken’s areas of expertise include alternative building project delivery methods for new construction projects. He is responsible for integrating Green Building metrics into the existing building market for JCI through their Performance Contracting Business processes and making JCI customers’ existing buildings more efficient and sustainable though guaranteed savings results. He is adept at using the EPA ENERGY STAR Building Label Program, LEED Green Building Certification process, and many other Sustainable “Green” Building Development programs available, to help serve JCI Customers.
