Bossier Parish (La.) district begins construction on elementary

1,000-student Kingston Elementary is set to to open in 2015

The Bossier Parish (La.) School District has broken ground on a new elementary school. The Bossier Press-Tribune says the Kingston Elementary School in Benton will accommodate 1,000 students and have more than 80,000 square feet of space--50 classrooms, 300 parking spaces and a combination cafeteria and gymnasium. The school is set to open in 2015
