Canyons (Utah) district is losing its first superintendent

Canyons (Utah) School Superintendent David Doty, the district’s first superintendent, is resigning to work for an education reform group. The Salt Lake Tribune says Doty will lead Education Direction, a Utah-based education reform firm. Doty has been superintendent since the Canyons district was created by splitting away from the Jordan School District in 2008.
