Detroit Cristo Rey High School buys site for $2.3 million

School acquires the former Holy Redeemer High School, which it has been leasing since 2008.

Detroit Cristo Rey High School has bought the former Holy Redeemer High School for $2.284 million. The Detroit News reports that the 63,000-square-foot buildingon Detroit’s southwest side housed the Holy Redeemer High from 1928 through 2005. Cristo Rey has been leasing space in the building since it opened in 2008.
