Elementary school to be built in Jackson (Mo.) district


The Jackson (Mo.) School District has broken ground for a new elementary school. The Southeast Missourian reports that the 105,000-square-foot building will sit on 15 acres and will be the largest elementary school in the district. The school will house kindergarten through fifth-grade students as well as an early childhood wing. It is being is financed with a bond of a little more than $16 million. The architect is Warner Nease Bost Architects, and the contractor is Brockmiller Construction.
