Facilities study identifies $1 billion in needs in Garland (Texas) district


A consultant’s report says facilities in the Garland (Texas) Independent School District need a billion dollars of refurbishing. The Dallas Morning News says the report looked at code compliance, handicap access, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, roof and technology issues at each of the district’s 84 facilities.
