School board in Florida ends corporal punishment

The Marion County School Board in Florida voted to reverse its decision to include corporal punishment as a disciplinary action, according to the Ocala Star Banner. Negative feedback from parents led to the reversal of the decision made just last year. The new decision will be effective as of June 30, 2014.
