Former church to become a private school in Philadelphia

Waldorf School of Philadelphia will move to the site in 2014.

Work is underway to transform a vacant Philadelphia church into a private school. NBC Philadelphia says the former St. Peter's Episcopal Church is being restored and will become the new home to the Waldorf School of Philadelphia. Waldorf expects to move to the site in August 2014. It is a pre-K through 8th grade school serving about 200 children.
