Fort Worth district buys downtown building to house all-girl's school


Tarrant County (Texas) commissioners have approved the $4.45 million sale of a downtown Fort Worth building to the Fort Worth School District. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram says the district will spend an additional $5.8 million to renovate the four-story building so it can house the Young Women's Leadership Academy. The all-girls school, which has grades six through nine, has outgrown its existing location.
