Foundation donates $50 million for medical school at University of Texas at Austin

The Dell Medical School plans to enroll its first class in 2016

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation is donating $50 million to the University of Texas at Austin to establish the Dell Medical School. The Dell Medical School is scheduled to enroll its first class of 50 students in 2016. Campus officials are seeking accreditation, working on state approvals, searching for permanent leadership and examining building sites for the medical school.
