Grand opening held for Los Angeles County High School for the Arts

$31 million facility opens on campus of California State University, Los Angeles

The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts has unveiled its new $31 million facility at a grand opening ceremony. The three-level facility features 21 classrooms and black box theatre on 1.24 acres of land on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles. The new building enables the school to hold academic classes in one building for the first time in nearly 30 years. Until now, it has shared facilities with the university. The Los Angeles County Office of Education operates the school in partnership with Cal State L.A.
