Health Sciences Center opens at Wake Technical Community College

$20 million facility will help train students in health-related fields

Wake Technical Community College has opened a new building on its Health Sciences Campus in Raleigh. The Raleigh News & Observer says the facility is is outfitted to resemble as closely as possible the heatlh-related settings where students eventually will work. The Health Sciences Center cost $20 million to build and $4.4 million to outfit. An adjacent parking deck cost another $7.4 million.
