Kansas district wins approval of $244 million bond proposal

Olathe district will build its 6th high school and make other facility improvements.

Voters in the Olathe (Kan.) School District have approved a $244.8 million bond package that will pay for the system's fifth high school and other facility upgrades. The Kansas City Star says the bond funds also will enable Olathe, the second-largest district in Kansas, build its 36th elementary school, upgrade technology and security , and renovate several existing campuses.
