From The New York Times: As Newtown, Conn., struggles to recover from last month's shooting deaths at Sandy Hook Elementary School, public officials and residents have begun the painful process of deciding what to do with the building. Residents gathered in the auditorium of Newtown High School Sunday to discuss the school's future. Opinions varied sharply about whether to reopen the school, renovate it, turn it into a shrine or a park, or raze it.
