Poway (Calif.) district breaks ground on elementary school

Campus eventually will house grades K to 8.

The Poway (Calif.) school district has broken ground on an elementary school. The Poway Patch says the campus, across the street from Del Norte High School, is scheduled to open in 2014 for students in grades K to 5; in subsequent years, grades 6 to 8 will be added. The architect is BakerNowicki Design Studio.
