Study of charter authorizers in Michigan says Grand Valley State University's charters perform the best

Charters authorized by the Detroit district perform the worst, the study says.

Charter schools in Michigan that are authorized by Grand Valley State University have the best academic track record; and schools authorized by Detroit Public Schools have the worst, according to a report by the Education Policy Center at Michigan State University and staff at the Michigan Department of Education.
