The University of Kentucky hopes that a $5 million investment in security cameras will help prevent and solve more crimes on campus.

The University of Kentucky hopes that a $5 million investment in security cameras will help prevent and solve more crimes on campus.

The university ultimately plans to install almost 2,000 cameras on campus. Last month the school’s existing surveillance system helped solve two crimes, including catching students in the act of igniting a car on fire, according to Prison Planet
