Video: High school construction in Mount Vernon, Ill., is $6 million over budget

Video from WSIL-TV: Construction of a new high school in Mount Vernon, Ill., has gone nearly $6 million over budget, and administrators and contractors looking for ways to cut costs before the project can move forward. As now designed, the new Mount Vernon High would cost nearly $78 million--$6 million more than what the school board has. Cuts must be made soon for the construction to meet its July 2015 deadline.
