Video: Joplin (Mo.) district is adding safe rooms

14 safe rooms are being built across the school system.

Video from KOAM-TV: The Joplin (Mo.) School District, which sustained significant damage in a deadly 2011 tornado, has plans to construct 14 community safe rooms throughout the district. All safe rooms will serve a dual purpose - they will be gymnasiums that are also community storm shelters.
