Texas A&M is set to begin construction on a $120 million construction project for its Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences Education Complex. The project, one the largest construction projects that the university has ever undertaken, will be coupled with the expansion of its small animal hospital.

The funding for the project came from the Permanent University Fund, which was established as part of the Texas Constitution of 1876, according to The Battalion, Texas A&M’s student paper.
