University of South Carolina to renovate its journalism school

The University of South Carolina broke ground for its College of Mass Communications and Information Studies on Monday, February 3, 2014.  In the spirit of sustainability the school produced a video contrasting the current building with renderings of the new building. The 54,000-square foot facility is expected to be ready in time for 2015 fall classes. The renovation project will serve as the new home for the schools nearly 1,500 journalism students.
