Dallas rescinds extended workday for teachers

Nov. 30, 2012

Video from WFAA-TV: The Dallas school board has voted to do away with a 45-minute extended workday for teachers. The extended day had been imposed with no pay increase and had been heavily criticized by many teachers. The school system will revert to its previous policy, which required a minimum workday of seven hours and 45 minutes. The change should take effect in January.
