Governor signs campus-carry law

As of July 1 for students, staff and visitors to carry concealed weapons on college and university campuses.

Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter signed the campus carry bill into law, making it legal as of July 1 for students, staff and visitors to carry concealed weapons on college and university campuses in Idaho.  Idaho’s eight college presidents had opposed the bill, but it passed by a large margin in both the house and senate, according to Idaho Legislative Services office.
