Cuts come even though enrollment is climbing
From The Baton Rouge Advocate: The Louisiana Community and Technical College Systemhas approved its budget-cutting plans and layoffs of nearly 100 employees. The cuts come at a time when two-year colleges are experiencing rapid growth and have ballooned to nearly 70,000 students statewide.
