2 Detroit schools will become charters in the fall

District chooses charter operators for Rutherford and MacDowell elementaries

From The Detroit News: The Detroit school district is turning two more of its schools over to charter operators. Solid Rock Management Company and SABIS Educational Systems Inc., respectively, were selected as charter operators for Rutherford Elementary and MacDowell Elementary. The schools will open as charter schools this fall.
