2 Nashville private schools are closing

May 26, 2009
Each served a predominantly African-American community

From The Nashville Tennessean: St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic school founded to serve black students in Nashville, Tenn., will close its doors after 76 years. St. Vincent isn't the only predominantly black private school that people are mourning. Bridges Academy in East Nashville also closed last week because of a lack of funds in an economically difficult time.
