2 new schools in North East (Texas) district won't be ready to open this summer

About 1,200 elementary students will have to be relocated temporarily

From The San Antonio Express-News: Two new elementary schools in the North East (Texas) Independent School District will not be ready to open as planned in August, causing roughly 1,200 students to start the school year at different campuses. The builder says it will miss the July 16 deadline for completing Vineyard Ranch Elementary and Las Lomas Elementary, both in San Antonio, because some subcontractors have walked off the project. Students who were set to attend the new schools will be sent to other campuses for up to a semester.
