$21 million bond is approved in Lake Park-Audubon (Minn.) district

Money will enable district to build a new high school.

From The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead: After rejecting five school building proposals since 2005, Lake Park-Audubon (Minn.) district residents have approved a $21 million bond that will pay for a new high school and renovations at the district elementary. Earlier this year, the district qualified for federal stimulus package money that will cover the bond interest on $19 million. District financial advisers say that could save as much as $10 million.
