$30 million bond proposal passes in Forney (Texas) district

Renovations and additions planned throughout the district

News release: Voters in Forney (Texas) district have approved a $30 million bond proposal. More than 62 percent of the voters in the election supported the request.
The money will pay for renovations and additions throughout the district. The renovations and additions include updating security at several elementary and both middle schools; parking and athletic additions at North Forney High School and additions and renovations to the Career and Technology Education, administration, fine arts, food service and athletic areas at Forney High School.
