State has lifted cap on university-authorized charters

From The Detroit News: Thirty-one new public charter schools that will open their doors across Michigan this fall, according to a list released by the Michigan Association of Public School Academies. They're the first schools to open since Gov. Rick Snyder signed legislation last year lifting the cap on university-authorized charters. Ten new charters will open in Detroit alone.
