$41.5 million housing complex planned at Texas Southern University

News release: The Board of Regents for Texas Southern University inHouston has approved plans for a $41.5 million, 215,000-square-foot student housing complex. The seven-story building will have social and study areas on all residential floors. Other amenities include a dining hall, locker storage, a laundry on all residential floors, a convenience store, roof terrace and a gaming area. The rooms are double occupancy with a shared restroom. Construction is scheduled to be complete by July 2014. The architects are Harrison Kornberg and Lord, Aeck, Sargent.
