5th-grade girl dies in Detroit bus accident

Student stuck her head out of bus window and hit a tree
From The Detroit Free Press: A Detroit Public Schools student died when her head, which was stuck out of a window of a school bus, hit a tree after the bus backed up. School and police officials say the incident happened around 3 p.m. Thursday near Phoenix Multicultural Academy on the city's southwest side. The 11-year-old girl was identified as Tiffany DiCicco-Ross. She was a fifth-grader.
