Cuts needed to help close $13.2 million budget shortfall

From The Cleveland Plain Dealer: The Cleveland school district is laying off 75 safety and security guards as part of $13.2 million in budget cuts. The district also will not fill 18 vacant security positions. It expects the cutbacks will save $888,000 from the safety and security budget.
