80-year-old teacher sues New York City over dismissal

From The New York Daily News: An 80-year-old kindergarten teacher in New York City says she was fired because she complained about having to walk her students to the bathroom. Lillie Leon, who has taught in the public school system for more than three decades, says she is suing to get her job back. Leon was notified last week that she had lost her job at Public School 117 in Queens. Her lawsuit seeks to overturn her dismissal for insubordination; she was suspended in March.
