$82.5 million bond issue passes in West Fargo (N.D.) district

Projects to be built include 2 elementary schools and a middle school

From The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead: Voters in the West Fargo (N.D.) school district have approved an $82.5 million bond issue. The money will be used to build a 550-student elementary school that would open in 2012; a second 550-student elementary that would be built when enrollment reaches a trigger point; and a 1,200-student middle school. The district also plans to expand the Sheyenne Ninth Grade Center into a 1,500-student high school and create a ninth-grade wing at West Fargo High School.
