New school ready to open in Spartanburg County, S.C.

Spartanburg County (S.C.) School District 5 is preparing to welcome students next week to the new Abner Creek Elementary School in Greer. The $11.8 million, 92,000-square-foot facility has a 610-student capacity. It is expected to open with will serve 415 students. The school is part of the district's $69.8 million facilities plan.
