District settles dispute with city of O'Fallon over construction plans

From stltoday.com: The O'Fallon, Mo., City Council has approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Wentzville School District that will clear the way for construction of the district's third high school. The school is being built on 80 acres in southern O'Fallon. In January the council denied a conditional-use permit for the new school, but the school board moved forward with construction plans. Much of the disagreement involved homeowners who feared the extension of a road near the site would increase traffic volume. Officials hope to open the school by Aug. 2013.
