Activists seek pardon for Akron mom who fraudulently enrolled kids in school

From The Columbus Dispatch: Political activists groups are asking Ohio Gov. John Kasich to pardon Kelley Williams-Bolar, an Akron mother who spent 10 days in jail for fraudulently enrolling her daughters in a school district where they were not residents. Three nonprofit political organizations delivered 165,000 petition signatures to the governor's office urging Kasich to pardon Williams-Bolar from felony convictions, which could keep her from becoming a schoolteacher. Kasich has directed his legal advisers to look into the case.
