Indiana district decides to consolidate its two high schools

From The Indianapolis Star: The Anderson (Ind.) School Board has decided to consolidate its two high schools into one building: Anderson High School. The existing Highland High School will become a middle school. The move, which is expected to save about $5.5 million, is part of a consolidation plan that also includes converting the city's two middle schools into elementary schools and closing four elementaries.
