Another facility at University of California, Merced, becomes LEED-certified

Science & Engineering Building is 4th on campus to achieve LEED rating

News release: The new 174,000-square-foot Science & Engineering Building on the University of California, Merced, campus has received gold LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The project is the fourth on the Merced campus since 2007 to receive a gold LEED rating. "It is our intention to meet or exceed the minimum requirements for gold certification on all future campus structures, making UC Merced by far the most environmentally progressive campus in the nation," says Thomas Lollini, associate vice chancellor for physical planning, design and construction.
