Facility would house 78 students at Montserrat College in Beverly, Mass.

Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Mass., plans to break ground this summer on an $8 million residence hall. School officials hope the new housing will help increase enrollment from 290 to 350 students in coming years. The building will house 78 students with four, six or eight students sharing living space and a kitchen. Upper level windows will have an area where student’s work will be on display. Three existing buildings on the property will be torn down to make way for the new residence hall. The architect is Siemasko & Verbridge.
