Addition approved for Rockport, Maine, school

TheRockport (Maine) Planning Board has approved Ashwood Waldorf School’s plans to build a 4,464 square-foot classroom building on its 32-acre campus. The building will house up to six classrooms to accommodate current and future student enrollment. The building will be completed by September 2009. It will be sited on the property to maximize passive solar energy and to allow for two levels of classroom space. The architect is Beckstrom Architecture and Planning.
