Assaults bring tighter security to school in El Cajon, Calif.

Three female students have been attacked walking to or from school in the last two months

Security has been tightened around Grossmont High School in El Cajon, Calif., where three girls have been sexually assaulted in the past two months while walking to or from school. The school will begin a shuttle bus service for students who want to avoid walking past areas where the three assaults occurred. An El Cajon police officer based at the 2,300-student school has stepped patrols, and parents have discussed organizing a parent patrol.
