From The Austin American-Statesman: Austin (Texas) school board trustees have voted to dissolve a partnership with a charter school operator just one semester into its management of an elementary school. Board members voted 5-4 to end the district’s relationship with IDEA Public Schools at the end of the 2012-13 school year. The board chose IDEA last year to take over Allan Elementary School, but a majority of members feel having IDEA run the school was a divisive issue that had to be addressed.
