Funds for middle school sought in Belton (Texas) district

Sep 2, 2009 3:45 PM

From The Temple Daily Telegram: The Belton (Texas) school board has scheduled a $29 million bond election on Nov. 3. The district is seeking to build a new middle school. In May, voters rejected a $38.9 million bond proposal. The new school would be about 145,000 square feet, 15,000 square feet less than the original design plan, and would have lower materials and labor costs. It could house about 900 students.
