Benton Harbor (Mich.) district consolidates campuses to reduce deficit

From The Herald-Palladium: The Benton Harbor (Mich.) school board has voted to consolidate its schools as part of a five-year plan to eliminate the district's deficit. The restructuring plan will create four schools for grades 1 to 8, a preschool program, a kindergarten center and a high school.
