Bond request for middle school

Baker (Ore.) district seeks $21 million.

The Baker (Ore.) School Board will ask voters to approve a a $21 million bond measure on Nov. 6. The money would be used to build a new middle school. Last year, voters rejected a $19 million request for the school; since then the cost estimate for the project has risen.
