Bond results uncertain in Parkrose (Ore.) district

$63 million proposal is ahead by 6 votes

From The Portland Oregonian: The election ended three days ago. But the Parkrose (Ore.) School District's hope of passing a $63 million bond measure continues. After being ahead by two votes on Thursday, the measure fell behind by two votes on Friday. But as of Monday, the proposal was ahead by 6 votes; 2,521 yes votes have been tallied, compared with 2,515 opposed.

Earlier...from The Portland Oregonian: The Parkrose (Ore.)School District's hope of passing a $63 million bond measure is still alive. After trailing by one vote in initial returns, the bond measure now is ahead by a count of 2,493 to 2,491. Money from the measure would replace 50-year-old Parkrose Middle Schooland make other campuses safer and more energy efficient.
